When Fremont Police were dispatched Oct. 1 to a motor vehicle accident where Adams was accused of failing to stop at a stop sign and striking the side of a grain truck, his blood alcohol content was .094 percent. A pre-sentence investigation and chemical evaluation were ordered and sentencing was set for Dec. 13. * Kyle A. Beebee, 19, of Nickerson pleaded guilty to false reporting, a Class I misdemeanor; no proof of insurance, a Class II misdemeanor; driving under suspension, a Class III misdemeanor; and careless driving, an infraction. In exchange for his pleas, a failure to appear charge was not filed. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing was set for Dec. 13. * Joseph A. Blum, 22, of Omaha pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance and speeding, an infraction. He was fined $150. * Sandra Brewer, 44, of Fremont pleaded no contest to driving under the influence-first offense, a Class W misdemeanor. In exchange for her plea, charges of open container and failure to signal, both infractions, were dismissed. When she was stopped Aug. 20 by a Dodge County deputy for not using her turn signal, her blood alcohol content was .127 percent. She was sentenced to seven days in jail, fined $400 and her driver's license was suspended for six months. * Jodi L. Cartwright, 41, of Fremont pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense in exchange for a charge of violating a traffic signal, an infraction, being dismissed. When she was stopped Sept. 9 by Fremont Police for running a red light, she had a blood alcohol content of .183 percent. She was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $400. As part of her probation, she must attend a defensive driving class, a victim's impact panel, a chemical education class and two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week. She also must perform 60 hours of community service, attend outpatient counseling and her driver's license was revoked for 60 days. * John A. Flagle, 39, of Fremont pleaded guilty to driving under suspension, speeding and driving left of center. His sentencing was continued until Feb. 14 so he could get his driver's license reinstated. * Monika Harper, 28, of Clarkson pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance. She was fined $75. * Christina Boydston was appointed to represent Brandon Jasper, 25, of Columbus and arraignment was continued until Nov. 29. Jasper is charged with DUI-second offense and refusal to submit, a Class W misdemeanor. * Michael Keeler, 18, of Arlington had his arraignment continued until Nov. 22 so he could consult an attorney. He is charged with criminal mischief, a Class IV felony. * David Lacomber, 24, of Fremont pleaded no contest to attempted third-degree assault, a Class II misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, the charge was amended from third-degree assault, a Class I misdemeanor, and a charge of disturbing the peace, a Class III misdemeanor, was dismissed. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and a Dec. 6 sentencing date was set. * Jacob Lentler, 23, of Columbus pleaded guilty to DUI-first offense in exchange for a charge of driving on the shoulder, an infraction, being dismissed. When a Dodge County deputy stopped him Sept. 18 for swerving, his blood alcohol content was .184 percent. Lentler was sentenced to six months of probation and fined $400. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victim's impact panel, a chemical education class, and five Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his driver's license was revoked for 60 days. * Leo Eskey was appointed to represent Raymond J. Madsen, 83, of Fremont and arraignment was continued until Nov. 29. Madsen is charged with obstructing a peace officer and false reporting, both Class I misdemeanors, disorderly conduct and failure to signal. * Rusty A. Meyer, 24, of Fremont had his arraignment continued until Dec. 6 so he could consult an attorney. He is charged with driving during revocation, a Class II misdemeanor. * Chris Mlnarik, 40, of Fremont had his pretrial conference continued until Dec. 6. Mlnarik is charged with DUI-second offense. * Kenneth Mock, 45, of Hooper pleaded guilty to attempted domestic assault, a Class II misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea the charge was amended from domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor, and a charge of disturbing the peace, a Class III misdemeanor, was dismissed. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing was set for Dec. 6. * Coren R. Olmedo, 28, of Omaha was sentenced to 48 hours in jail with a 58-day suspended sentence, six months of probation and fined $400. As part of his probation, he must attend a defensive driving class, a victim's impact panel, a chemical education class, outpatient mental health counseling and five Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. He also must perform 60 hours of community service and his driver's license was revoked for 60 days. Olmedo previously was convicted of DUI-first offense. * Justin L. Peterson, 17, of Fremont pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance, a Class II misdemeanor, and speeding. He was fined $200. * A Nov. 28 preliminary hearing was set for Thomas J. Prado, 32, of Fremont. He is charged with two counts of third-degree assault on an officer and resisting arrest-second offense, all Class IIIA felonies. He also is charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief, both Class I misdemeanors. * Crystal M. Robishaw, 20, of Fremont pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking, a Class II misdemeanor, and minor in possession, a Class III misdemeanor. She is accused of stealing two coolers and beer from her aunt's house on Sept. 28. Robishaw was fined $450. * Rodney Rolenc, 32, of Hooper pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Since his driver's license had been reinstated, he was fined $75. * Ryan Sanny, 21, of Fremont had his pretrial conference continued until Dec. 6. He is charged with DUI-first offense. * Robert Krafka was appointed to represent Barbara Schnoor, 34, of Fremont in a probation revocation hearing. Schnoor is on probation for theft by shoplifting and theft by unlawful taking, both Class II misdemeanors. * Charles Schollmeyer, 22, of Fremont pleaded guilty to third-degree assault, a Class I misdemeanor, and driving under suspension. In exchange for his pleas, the infractions of possession of marijuana-less than an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed. An updated pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing was set for Dec. 13. * Joshua Simmons, 22, of Fremont was sentenced to 58 days in jail and given credit for 58 days time served. He previously was convicted of first-degree criminal trespass, a Class I misdemeanor. * Calvin L. Speas, 42, of Fremont pleaded guilty to attempted possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class I misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing was set for Dec. 13. * Jennifer J. Thomsen, 32, of Fremont pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting-second offense, a Class I misdemeanor. In exchange for her plea, a charge of first-degree criminal trespass, a Class I misdemeanor, was dismissed. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and sentencing was set for Dec. 13. * Crystal R. Tipton, 19, of Fremont pleaded innocent to reckless driving, a Class III misdemeanor, speeding, stop sign violation, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to signal intent. A bench trial was set for Dec. 2. * David W. Wade, 37, of Omaha was fined $225. He previously was convicted of no proof of insurance, driving under suspension, fictitious plates and no valid registration. * Bill Witthuhn, 28, of Fremont was sentenced to one year intense supervised probation with a 30-day upfront jail sentence and electronic monitoring for the first 60 days out of jail. He also was sentenced to a 150-day suspended sentence, ordered to attend a batterer's program, fined $250 and ordered to pay $823.54 in restitution. Witthuhn previously was convicted of domestic assault, a Class I misdemeanor, and insufficient funds checks, a Class III misdemeanor. * Ricky W. Witthuhn, 45, of North Bend had a motion to suppress denied. His attorney, Avis Andrews, argued that a stop for DUI was not properly made because she claimed a Dodge County deputy was "fishing for a reason to stop" her client.
